Weekly(?) Report

Sorry for last week's lack of a post...

Quite a bit of stuff happened, but mainly, our forums were temporarily down, thanks to the host.
When they came back up, they looked as they do now. We're trying to see if we can get it to something less garish, but bear with us for now, please.

With that, let's move on to the update. We'll be talking more about the battle system today.

When in battle, the screen will look something like this:

Your party will be in the lower right side of the screen, while your opponents will be in the upper left area. In the lower left corner, your party members will be displayed, along with their HP, PP, and SP.

When your turn rolls around, a command box will extend out from your first party member over the rest, along with the character in question highlighted on the field. After selecting the first character's command, you'll choose a command for the next character in the same way, and so on.

Once you've selected commands for your entire party, the attacks play out according to the speed of your party and opponents. When a character attacks, their face in the bottom left will change. If they're attacked, it will change as well.

That's all that we've got for you this week, so we'll see you later.

Until next week!

Green was here, Blue is a loser

Welcome back, everyone!
Time for another update!

Green manages to always be one step ahead of the party on their travels. He's on a mission from Oak, and so he thinks that gives him the right to be an ass to just about everyone. He'll interrupt you quite a few times on your journey.

That's all the info we can share for now, but check back next week for another update!

(Blog updates are likely to be moved to Thursday from now on.)

Until next week!

And we're back!

Welcome back to the PokeJRPG blog! Sorry for the lack of info here recently, but we're going to kick everything into gear now.

So, to start, here's today's update:

Here we have Gold. He's cocky, stubborn, and never turns down a challenge. Originally Elm's bodyguard on a journey from Newbark Town to Pallet Town, Gold ends up escorting Blue on her mission for Oak, and invites her along on his quest to keep her out of trouble.

We hope you'll check back with us every weekend to see what's new. We promise to have plenty of surprises in store.
Until next week, here's a blacked out character to keep you guessing:

See you next week!
